Compass Learning Directions
Our school has chosen to use Compass Learning Odyssey®, a Web-based curriculum, to enhance your child’s educational experience. This letter is designed to help you and your child get off to a good start.
In order to proceed successfully with your home use, you need to check to see if the computer can run the program. This is done by going to the login address htttp://clo.svsd.net and completing the following:
- Click the System Requirements button at the bottom of the Odyssey home page to see if your home computer is capable of running this program.
- Next, click the Check System button that is next to the system requirements link to start the system check. On this screen, you will see a list of things you need to download to make the program run from your home.
- Click the link(s) provided to download the free plug-ins you need to run Odyssey.
Once the system has loaded the correct programs, you can log into Odyssey using this address and log-in information:
User name: (usually student’s last name, first initial, middle initial - all lowercase)
Password: (your child’s student number - six digits.)
School: (school district initials - no spaces, no punctuation marks - Seneca Valley School District is SVSD)
