Last month, fifth and sixth grade students from Ehrman Crest and Haine Middle School were selected to perform at the PMEA District 5 Elementary Chorus Fest held at Lakeview High School. These young musicians had the opportunity to rehearse with a guest conductor throughout the day and concluded the event with a special concert performance.

The guest conductors for the festival were Mr. Steven Schmidt, Director of the Bel Canto Choir for the Pittsburgh Youth Chorus, and Ms. Heather Groves-Edwards, retired music director for the Slippery Rock Middle and High School choirs.

Ehrman Crest Middle School students are led by Mr. David Wingenbach and Haine Middle School students are led by Ms. Elizabeth Schroder.
